We are born sacred and creative. Our ancestors expressed their intuitive creativity by tapping into the sacredness of their natural environment as inspiration, as well as accessing inner vision and emotions of the heart. To embrace the sacred is to embrace our Creator/Creatress, our own in-dwelling divinity.

In this workshop, you will connect with the sacred using your own intuitive artistic expressions through mixed-media. Sacred objects brought from home, found in nature and other places, and the intuitive mind are the elements gathered to create a work of art on canvas. The results will be suitable for hanging and raising the vibration of your environment, or making prints and giving as framed gifts to others.

The culmination of the workshop is an invitation to be part of an art exhibit in progress at 4:00PM: Things We Hold Sacred: First Annual Visual and Performance Art Show and Sale.

The workshop includes:

*canvas

*acrylic paint

*water color

*supplies

*some found objects (You may bring some of your own, keeping sacred in mind)

*photos (You may bring your own copies of images you hold sacred)

*a Kundalini Yoga Meditation for Creative Flow

*the creative sound of the gong

*a hearty meal.
